Privacy Notice

Who is responsible
DUST is responsible for this website and the personal information described in this notice. Contact us at support@dustseasoning.co.uk or via https://www.dustseasoning.co.uk.
Information we use
Depending on how you use DUST, we process account and profile information, orders and delivery details, marketing consent, customer-support messages, verified-purchase reviews and optional photos, creator applications, welcome offers, and secure cart-recovery data.
Why we use it
We use information to provide accounts, process and deliver orders, answer support requests, prevent misuse, provide requested welcome offers, run creator applications and maintain records. Marketing is optional and based on explicit consent. Our legitimate interests may include operating, securing and improving the shop.
Marketing and service messages
Marketing consent is optional, explicit and default-off. It can be withdrawn through account preferences or by contacting us. Transactional and service messages, including order confirmation, shipping, account/security and a requested welcome coupon, are separate from promotional marketing. Abandoned-cart recovery emails are limited to people with explicit marketing consent.
Analytics and carts
With permission, DUST records first-party ecommerce analytics to understand product interest, cart activity and conversion. It uses random browser/session identifiers and is not completely anonymous, but event properties deliberately exclude direct identifiers such as email, name, postal address and payment details. Identifiable carts store product or bundle identity and quantity, not trusted browser pricing.
Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication and data, Vercel for hosting, and Resend for email where configured. Stripe is intended to process payments when enabled; DUST does not store payment-card details. Providers may process information on our behalf and may involve international transfers.
Retention and your rights
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including providing orders and accounts and meeting legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute obligations. Marketing data is kept while you are subscribed and as needed to manage consent and suppression.
Under UK data-protection law you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and portability in some circumstances. Contact support@dustseasoning.co.uk or the ICO if you remain dissatisfied.
Cookies and changes
See Cookies & Browser Storage for your analytics choice and the browser storage currently used. We may update this notice when the service changes.
